Freezing cold delays Winterfest in Washington Cuonty

The extreme cold is forcing another winter festival in the Capital Region to move to a new date. This time it’s the Winterfest in Washington County.

The event was planned for Saturday. It’s being moved to Feb. 25 because of the dangerously frigid temperatures expected this weekend.

Winterfest will be held at Lake Lauderdale Park on Route 22 in Jackson.

Amsterdam also postponed its WinterFest event. It will now be held on Feb. 11.
