Full-body scanner installed at Montgomery County Jail

A new tool at the Montgomery County Jail will keep dangerous contraband out of the building.
The facility installed a new full-body scanner.
It detects contraband items such as weapons, drugs or cellphones by using transmission image technology.
There were 70 incidents in 2022, involving some sort of contraband in the facility, said the sheriff. He says some of those incidents can be dangerous.
