Funny Cide, Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winning horse, has died

Funny Cide, the winner of the 2003 Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes has died.

The Hall of Champions resident passed away Sunday from complications of colic, the Kentucky Horse Park said.

He will be greatly missed by his friends at the Kentucky Horse Park, Sackatoga Stable, and all his devoted fans.

The Hall of Champions will be closed Sunday.
