Galway man accused of choking person unconscious

A Galway man is accused of choking a person until they became unconscious.

Gerrod M. Jones, 40, was charged with strangulation following a disturbance call on Sacandaga Road in the town of Galway just after midnight on Saturday, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said.

Jones was arraigned in Galway Town Court and released to pretrial services.
