Garvey Hyundai in Queensbury and Garvey Nissan in Rutland, Vermont are teaming up with Hudson Valley Community College.

The goal is to enhance opportunities for graduating students pursuing careers in automotive service.

The dealerships will provide internships opportunities for students, giving them valuable experience in a professional service environment. The students will have access to the dealerships’ cutting-edge service facilities, which are equipped with the latest tech and diagnostic tools. There also will be mentorship programs. Experienced professionals will help guide students through several aspects of automotive service work.

Kyle Garvey, owner and manager of the Drive Garvey Family of Dealerships said that by combining academic excellence with real-world experience, they aim to create a pathway for students to thrive in the dynamic and evolving automotive industry.
