Giant snowball fight held in Albany’s Washington Park

A large group gathered in Washington Park early Tuesday evening for a big snowball fight.
The snowball fight was a last-minute event planned to boost morale, said organizers.
Organizers had hoped for a crowd of around 100 people, but were still very pleased with the 50 or so who showed up.
