Girl, 14, arrested in Hudson Falls park assault

A 14-year-old girl was arrested in Hudson Falls on Monday morning.
She is charged with second-degree assault, after she hit a 15-year-old boy in the face, police said.
It happened on June 21, around 4:30 p.m. at Derby Park.
The boy was hit in the nose, said police, and the injury requires continuing medical care.
Her legal guardian was issued an appearance ticket to the Washington County Probation Department.
The investigation is ongoing.
