Girl, 3, remains in medically induced coma after deadly Waterford fire

A 3-year-old girl remains in medically induced coma after a Waterford fire, earlier this week. Six people were hospitalized and one person died in the fire.

The little girl is currently at Shriners Hospital in Boston, according to a GoFundMe set up for her.

She has third-degree burns on her body and is in a medically induced coma.

As NewsChannel 13 has reported, the fire was started a portable heating appliance, according to the State Office of Fire Prevention and Control.

It started in the rear bedroom on the second floor of the apartment, investigators said.

The person who passed away lived on the third floor.
