Glenville Police identify man hit and killed by car

Glenville Police say the man hit by a car early Wednesday morning has died.

He has now been identified as Korey Lavistcount, 21, a homeless man with family in New York City.

The accident happened just before 3 a.m. Wednesday at State Route 5 and Gower Road.

The driver immediately called 911.

Police continue to investigate, but don’t think alcohol and drugs were involved.
