Maple Avenue in Glenville is back open after Thursday’s explosion.
The road had been shut down so crews could complete work to remove a tractor-trailer that had struck the Maple Avenue railroad bridge and caused an explosion. The driver received third-degree burns and was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center.
The town’s state of emergency also was lifted.
