A Gloversville man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing.

Aljabbar D. Crenshaw, 44, allegedly stabbed a man in the upper left arm on Wednesday at around 7:45 p.m., Gloversville Police said.

The victim was treated at the scene and then transported to Albany Medical Center for injuries that are not life-threatening.

Police identified Crenshaw as the suspect and charged him with second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon. He was set to be arraigned in Gloversville City Court.

Police said there is no threat to the public.
