Gloversville man sentenced in wife’s 2019 death
A Gloversville man who admitted to killing his wife was sentenced to up to 25 years in prison on Tuesday.
Michael Darling pleaded guilty to manslaughter last August for shooting and killing his wife Kristine Darling in 2019.
When Darling learned he was being charged with murder last year, he ran from his Gloversville home.
Police found him less than a day after he ran.
Once he gets out of prison, Darling faces five years of post-release supervision.
