Gloversville motorcyclist dies in Johnstown crash

A Gloversville man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Johnstown on Wednesday.

State Police responded to a report of a car vs. motorcycle crash at the intersection of County Route 122 and Route 29 at about 6:48 p.m.

The preliminary investigation determined that 29-year-old Salvatore A. Attigliato was traveling east on Route 29A, when a vehicle turned onto Route 29A westbound from County Route 122 and struck Attigliato, according to a news release.

Attigliato had severe injuries and was declared dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
