Gloversville Police investigating two explosions

Gloversville Police are investigating two early Wednesday morning explosions.

Police responded to the area of Helwig Street between 5th and 6th Avenue at around 1:30 a.m. for a report of explosions. They found two devices at both locations that had exploded, they said.

No other details have been released yet.

The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, New York State Police, Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Johnstown Police Department, Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives, and FBI are helping with the investigation.
