A 15-year-old girl set the house on fire while her father was inside, investigators said. Edmund W. Metz, 58, was killed.
The fire happened at 2879 Route 9, the corner of Route 9 and Cold Spring Road, last month.
The house was a second home on the property that was being rented out, according to the fire chief.
