Governor Hochul signs new traffic laws
Governor Hochul signed new laws that hope to prevent traffic deaths and crack down on hit and run crashes.

This package includes two laws. The first will allow towns to reduce their speed limits to 25 miles per hour.
Prior to this legislation, the slowest speed limit was 30 miles per hour.
The second law will increase fines for leaving the scene of a car crash without reporting it.
