Green Island Police are investigating an incident in which a bullet was lodged in the window of a home on Lafayette Street.

Police believe the incident happened 12 to 1 a.m. on Wednesday and actually happened on the 9E Exit ramp of I 787. The bullet was a 9 mm.

Investigators found shells indicating a shooting had happened on the ramp.
