Greene County man gets 10 years in prison after child sex sting arrest

A Greene County man is expected to spend 10 years in prison for trying to entice a minor.
Thomas Squires, 37, from Cairo was sentenced in federal court on Tuesday.
Squires pleaded guilty in June to sending sexually explicit pictures to an undercover investigator posing as a 14-year-old.
In August of 2020, Squires went from his home to meet with the teenager, but was instead met by police.
