Greenfield man charged in sexual assault investigation

A Greenfield man was arrested for allegedly attempting to sexually assault someone at a party earlier this month.

Charles Semzock forced a woman into a storage room of the home of the party, investigators said. He then allegedly choked the woman, and tried to sexually assault her.

Semzock allegedly slammed a door closed on the victim’s hand, breaking her finger, investigators said. The woman screamed for help.

Semzock fled the scene on foot. He was caught Monday.
