A Greenfield man is dead after crashing his truck.

Justin Germain, 32, was driving his 2006 Ford pickup on South Greenfield Road in the town of Greenfield just after 1 a.m. on Friday. He failed to negotiate a curve, left the roadway and struck a tree, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said.

Germain was pronounced dead at the scene.

The preliminary investigation indicates speed was a factor in the crash.
