We’re learning more about a Massachusetts murder suspect being held in Albany.

Our partners at The Berkshire Eagle report say Taaniel Herberger-Brown has been in trouble with the law before.

According to police, Herberger-Brown threatened to murder a police officer and his family while he was in the back of a police car.

He later pleaded guilty to that charge.

Now, Herberger-Brown is charged with murdering Christopher Hairston in the city of Greenfield.

He was arrested at the Albany Airport last week and is still being held in the Albany County Jail.

He is due back in Albany County Court on May 31.
