A Greene County man is facing a driving while intoxicated charge after a crash earlier this week.

State Police responded to Main Street in Warrensburg for a report of a rollover crash. The driver was seen leaving the scene on foot.

Police searched the area with the assistance of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. The driver, 23-year-old Austin A. Gordon, of Greenville, was located walking in the area of Rosalie Avenue, police said.

He was charged with DWI and other traffic violations. Gordon recorded a blood alcohol concentration of 0.19 – more than twice the legal limit.

He was released on an appearance ticket and due in Warrensburg Town Court on Jan. 10.
