Halfmoon honors veterans with memorial ceremony
The Town of Halfmoon hosted its 7th Annual Veterans Memorial Ceremony on Saturday.
The ceremony paid tribute to all the veterans who have served in the U.S. armed forces.

Following the ceremony, the Town held a special luncheon for the veterans and their families
The Veterans Memorial in Halfmoon Town Park was created as a tribute to the men and women who have served in the armed forces.
“I am honored and humbled to announce this special public event honoring our veterans and their families,” Halfmoon Town Supervisor Kevin Tollisen said.
The memorial features a granite monument with the names of all the service branches.
“This beloved annual gathering at our Veterans Memorial is a wonderful way to express our profound gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to all the veterans who have served our country and defended our freedom,” Tollisen said.
