Halloween came with the best treat of all, warm weather

Halloween in Colonie

Dozens of trick or treaters came out to celebrate Halloween.

Dozens of trick or treats filled the streets of Colonie Thursday night for the warmest Halloween on record.

“I actually like Sour Patch Kids, which is trollies. I’m not a big chocolate guy,” said one trick or treater.

Kids all dressed up in their costumes, from ninja turtles to baseball players. One mother we spoke to said she had to remove her costume because of the temperatures.

“I’m Deadpool, and I’m pretty excited because I wanted to be him, and I just got to see the movie. It’s my favorite movie of all time.” said one trick or treater.

NewsChannel 13 went to one house that took about a month to decorate, with a smoke machine and tons of Halloween decor across the yard.

Another house that our crew passed by had a bunch of ghosts in the yard.

“We have, a series of ghosts that we like to put up. My husband chose the scary one, but I made sure we have two cute ones for the little kids,” one homeowner said.
