Hannaford in Niskayuna recalling store-brand beef shaved steak

The Hannaford in Niskayuna is recalling its store-brand beef shaved steak out of an abundance of caution.

The steak purchased on March 24 with a sell-by date of March 27 may contain foreign material, the store said in a news release.

Customers should check their storage and freezer areas for this product and not eat it.

The product and its packaging may be returned to the store for a full refund.

The recall only applies to the Niskayuna store.
