Harold Handy beating case abruptly adjourned

A trial was abruptly adjourned this week in Columbia County. The case involves four people, including two law enforcement officers, accused of beating up mechanic Harold Handy.
The alleged assault happened in 2020.
The case was adjourned after a private conversation between the judge and the Columbia County district attorney.
The trial will likely be re-scheduled in February.
