Historic Eagle Bay inn destroyed by fire

The historic Big Moose Inn, in Eagle Bay, Herkimer County, has been destroyed by a fire.
Fire crews were called to the hotel Saturday morning and they spent nearly 12 hours battling the flames.
An aerial unit was also called to the scene.
There are no reports of injuries.
Investigators are looking into a cause.
