Gov. Kathy Hochul says despite the threat of three different viruses in New York state this winter, there’s no need to sound the alarm just yet.

Hospitals across the country are seeing a big spike in RSV cases, and there is still coronavirus and the flu season.

Hochul says there are enough hospital beds across the state in case more people get sick.

NewsChannel 13 reached out to hospitals in the Capital Region on Wednesday. Albany Med says 29 children are hospitalized there with RSV.

Gov. Hochul received her flu shot on Wednesday morning, and is encouraging others to do the same.
