Hochul signs legislation cracking down on pandemic fraud

Gov. Kathy Hochul is taking new steps to crackdown on pandemic fraud.
The governor signed a new bill Wednesday to encourage people to report fraud as wells as increase penalties for those committing fraud during state emergencies like the pandemic.
The new law empowers the attorney general to take action against those who commit such fraud.
