Holiday Hunger Appeal to collect food bank donations
The Food Bank’s largest and most public fundraising event, the Holiday Hunger Appeal, is about to get underway. It spans from mid-November to Christmas Eve.
A display for the appeal will be at Crossgates Mall, where volunteers will be accepting donations to the Food Bank.
Numerous businesses and organizations act as Matching Day Sponsors, matching collections made at the mall on specific days and supplying volunteers for all or part of the day.
Various groups also gather collections or engage in special activities to raise funds and donate the earnings to the appeal.
