A home security camera in Amsterdam is credited with nabbing an alleged thief.

Timothy Faboskay, 35, stole a catalytic converter from a car on Locust Avenue on Feb. 27, police said.

Faboskay initially denied any involvement in the theft, said police, but confessed after they showed him surveillance video.

He’s now charged with grand larceny and criminal mischief.
