Hoosick Falls Board of Trustees to consider new water source agreement
The Hoosick Falls Board of Trustees will consider an agreement with Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics and Honeywell International, under which the companies will fund, design and construct a new water source for the village.
The village of Hoosick Falls has been dealing with the issue of PFOAs in water for years.
The companies are blamed for causing the water to be contaminated with the chemical linked to causing cancer.
A $65 million settlement between residents of Hoosick Falls and the companies was approved last year.
