Hoosick road finally reopens after lengthy closure

State Route 7 in Hoosick is finally back open, after suddenly closing last month because of a collapsed culvert.
The detour has been lifted and a new culvert has been installed, said the New York State Department of Transportation.
They plan to lay blacktop later this year, as it’s not usually done during the winter.
