Horicon man arrested for allegedly drunk driving with narcotics

A man from Horicon was arrested for allegedly driving drunk with narcotics in his car.

New York State Police arrested Vincent Varley, 40, at the I-87 rest area in Queensbury on October 14. Troopers found Varley there after they received a report of a suspicious person trying to break into a car.

When troopers arrived on the scene, Varley appeared to be intoxicated and resisted arrest, officials said.

Further investigation revealed that Varley had felony-weight narcotics in his car as well drug paraphernalia, according to officials.

Varley received numerous charges, including Driving While Intoxicated and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
