Horses in Cambridge helping veterans with PTSD

Horses are being used to help veterans heal.

What started out as a mission to rehabilitate horses has now turned into a program to help veterans with PTSD.

Valerie Buck is the founder of Actt Naturally, a non-profit that works to transition thoroughbred racehorses into a new life after competition.

Caring for horses was something Buck always wanted to do. However, she soon saw another way she could help make the world a little better.

These horses are now helping groups of veterans overcome their trauma.

The program is called, Hearts in Harmony, and has several veteran focused group sessions coming up.
