An animal rescue organization in Hudson is asking for help.

The cats and kittens at AnimalKind rescue in Hudson are freezing.

The furnace is broken and beyond repair, the organization said. There is no heat and no hot water.

Now they are asking for your help to warm the building that is home to 100 cats and kittens.

Repairs would cost a minimum of $12,000 to $15,000, the manager told NewsChannel 13. It’s money the organization just doesn’t have.

AnimalKind is asking for $20,000 in donations to replace the furnace. They have raised a little more than $1,000 so far.

The rescue has set up a GoFundMe to raise money.
