Five people are recovering from a pair of separate fires in the Capital Region.

One fire started Friday afternoon on Hill Street in Hudson. The American Red Cross is helping two adults, they said.

Meanwhile, firefighters responded to a fire on Burton Street in Johnstown on Friday with three adult victims, they said. Both fires remain under investigation.
