Hudson police chief prepares to retire

Hudson’s police chief is retiring. Ed Moore’s last shift will be Friday, May 19.
Moore’s career in law enforcement has spanned 42 years.
He was hired as the chief in Hudson 10 years ago, after having spent 32 years with the New York State
Police, making his way to the rank of sergeant.
A walking-out ceremony will be held at the Hudson Police Department on May 19 at noon.
A ceremony for his successor – Lieutenant Mishanda Franklin – will be held on May 22.
