A 17-year-old girl is being investigated for allegedly threatening violence at Hudson High School.

Hudson Police received a report last Tuesday at about 5:30 p.m. from a mother and her juvenile daughter regarding threats that the daughter received on her cell phone. She threatened to harm the girl and her friends, saying she was going to be “poked” and would “stab all of ur friends” and “I’ll jump u in school.” The girl also texted images of a knife and a long black rifle, threatening violence at the school, police said.

Police contacted the school district and worked with New York State Police and the Haverhill Police Department in Massachusetts to figure out where the texts came from.

The suspect was arrested after a search of her home.

Charges are pending.

Police learned that the suspect has a history of making threats and was previously investigated by Haverhill Police.
