Construction is underway on the long-delayed rail tunnel under the Hudson River.

The project will get another $3.8 billion in federal funding, Sen. Chuck Schumer announced Friday.

The Gateway Hudson River Tunnel Project will build new rail tunnels between New York and New Jersey. It will also create thousands of jobs for New Yorkers.
