Human remains identified as 79-year-old man
The human remains found in a wooded area in Saratoga Springs on Saturday have been identified as a 79-year-old man.
Police received a call around 10:50 a.m. on Saturday from a citizen reporting possible human remains found in the area of South Broadway and Adelphi Street.
Police identified the man as Paul Jamison based upon personal property found at the scene, they said. They’re waiting for DNA samples to confirm.
An autopsy was conducted on Dec. 31 and preliminary reports show no signs of suspicious activity.
New York State Police and the Saratoga County Coroner’s Office assisted Saratoga Springs Police with this investigation.
