Hundreds of people honored Saratoga County Undersheriff Rick Castle at his retirement on Friday.
Castle volunteered on the rescue squad, starting at just 16.
He traded in the La Salle uniform for the uniform of a Waterford dispatcher.
He quickly moved to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office — patrol deputy, sergeant, lieutenant, chief deputy and undersheriff. It totals 35 years of service.
Hear what Castle had to say when it was his turn to speak by watching the video of Mark Mulholland’s story.
