Troy roads reopen after hydraulic fuel spill

TROY – Roads in Troy that closed because a truck leaked hydraulic fluid now appear to be back open.

Congress Street was shut down between 7th Street and 15th Street, because the fluid was slick and police want to prevent car accidents.

Even more concerning was the rain that was moving through, and emergency crews were worried it could make things even slicker.

Crews from Troy Police, Troy Fire, and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation helped get everything under control.

Investigators say the driver had no idea they were leaking fluid. They are cooperating with police.
