Intense fire destroys Coeymans Hollow home

Fire destroyed a home in Coeymans Hollow.

Several fire companies were called to 58 Lawson Lake Road around 1:30 Monday morning.

Propane tanks in the home were exposed to extreme heat, and helped feed the fire, investigators said. There were also water supply issues, they said.

Firefighters were called back to the home later that evening for hot spots.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Meantime, the American Red Cross says they’re helping four adults and three kids after a fire on that same road early Monday morning. NewsChannel 13 has reached out to the Red Cross to see if it’s the same fire.
