A fugitive is back in custody in Montgomery County.

James Costanzo was taken into custody in Amsterdam.

As NewsChannel 13 reported last week, Costanzo was wanted by authorities on a felony court warrant.

Citizen tips and diligent police work helped track him down, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Costanzo has a criminal history. His last arrest came after a chase with Amsterdam Police officers in May of last year.
