Investigators: Schenectady man found with meth, heroin, pills in Amsterdam

A Schenectady man is facing drug charges in Montgomery County.

James Yawn, 27, was arrested after officials got a call for someone driving erratically in the area of Morrow Road in Amsterdam Friday morning, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said.

The car was found in the village of Hagaman. Yawn had meth, heroin and prescription pills on him, investigators said.

Yawn is also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
