Investigators: Washington County inmate found with drugs in jail

An inmate at the Washington County Correctional Facility is facing new charges for allegedly promoting prison contraband.
Tyanne Carpenter, 31, from Fort Edward is already in jail, facing drug charges.
Police say while she was incarcerated, they found drugs in her possession.
Carpenter has been processed and arraigned.
She’s due in court at a later date.
