When the Albany Empire takes on Orlando for the season’s home opener, players will be under the direction of former NFL pro and part owner of the team, Antonio Brown. We told you earlier this month, he’d be taking over the majority of ownership after the head coach was fired.

Brown has also yet to respond to an open lawsuit. We told you earlier this week, brown is being sued for more than $1 million.

According to reports, Brown failed to pay well-known jeweler, Shuki International, for two diamond pieces totaling to nearly $1.1 million.

Brown started his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he was named to the all-pro team four times. He ended his NFL career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers two years ago.

Earlier this month, joined the Albany Empire of the National Arena League as a partial owner.
