Jezreel, Victory Church team up to help hurricane victims
Jezreel International and local volunteers are teaming up to help victims of hurricane Helene get through the next phase of recovery.
Jezreel and Victory Christian Church already have a one container truck of supplies fully packed up and ready to be shipped this week, and they’re asking for donations to help fill a second.
Each truck is estimated to have about $100,000 in total put into it.
Charlie Muller, pastor of Victory Church, said he had boots on the ground in Helene’s aftermath in Houston.
“It was like you were meeting needs just consistently, you know, and it was so good because a lot of the elderly from different churches came and they us with the whole process. So, you know what, people have great hearts, and they want to get involved,” he said.
Cleaning products and health and hygiene products are most needed right now. They can be dropped off at Jezreel International’s headquarters in Colonie.
