John Legend says he’s ready for Wednesday’s SPAC debut

John Legend, the Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award-winning performer is making his SPAC debut, Wednesday, August 7 at 7:15 p.m.
It’s called “An Evening with John Legend,” and includes personal stories from Legend and his songs accompanied by the Philadelphia Orchestra.
NewsChannel 13’s Mark Mulholland spoke with Legend by Zoom Tuesday afternoon as he was getting ready to board a plane in Los Angeles. He’s looking forward to being outside because growing up in Ohio, he knows how much Upstate New Yorkers value summers and outdoor performances, he said.
Legend is one of just 19 EGOTs – a select group of people who’ve won all the top honors – Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony.
